how to pull full rss feed?

Is there any way to pull the full (and properly edited) rss feeds from sites?

Example:
http://www.christianpost.com/services/rss/feed/world/

Only pulls snippets. I'd like the full articles though.

I already tried the below in the feed body

{rss:content:encoded}

{rss:dc:creator}
{rss:pubDate}

{rss:category}

Still only shows something like this

Hey folks,

Would appreciate help on this. Thank you.

That is controlled from the exporting site so that you link to them. There is no real benefit for them to export the entire article.

Agreed, they basically say "Take what we give you or you get nothing at all"

ACP>RSS feeds> Add new RSS feed

Enter the title in the title field.

Enter the full url of the feed page in the URL , not the page URL, so you would need to enter :

http://www.christianpost.com/services/rss/feed/world/

Maximum Items to fetch set to whatever number you want, normally it is set to 1

User name: I tend to use FeedBot,
Select a destination forum

Leave the template section as is.

I normally select use items as threads, that way a different thread is created for each feed, which allows members to respond.

That should now pull the whole article, and not the just the teasers on the RSS feed page.

It worked for me, no guarantee's though ~!:)

You really don't want to pull full articles in any case.
You might want to take a brief look at Fair Use exceptions to copyright law.

Fair Use

Quote:

the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include—
(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;
(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
Additionally, copying works from other sources in full can result in being blacklisted as a spam site by google and other search engines. You're much better off using two paragraphs or less of material from another source, crediting the author, and providing a link to the source.

Thanks.

I do not have "use items as threads" option anywhere?

Also, preview feed still shows only first cut off paragraph.

As stated, you can only get as much of the feed as they allow you to see. Most sites will only allow you to see xxx characters of the post because they want you to provide a link back to them so the users can view the full post on their site (and then join).
