Adding custom posting fields?
 

Hey guys its been a while since i used VB (sold off my old sites) and I was curious about some stuff with VB 5 Connect.

With this version of VB can you add custom fields for when posting a thread based on forum? Similar to when Im posting this thread the VBulletin.org site requires me to pick a prefix.

For example if you have a For Sale forum and you want the user to add in Make, Model, Year when they click on new post it would look like:

Title:

Make:

Model:

Year:

Message Box:

Then these fields would be searchable. I hope this makes sense. As I would much rather use vbulletin's built in custom field system like they allow for user profile fields / registration then a hack/plugin that I always have to worry about updating.

Would the topic prefixes in VB5 cover this?...just saw these while playing with the demo

Edit NM ... this is just a prefix for the thread and wouldn't work for multiple fields
