Alternative to vB Nexus (login via Google/FB account)

I'm interested in whether there is a good alternative to vB Nexus?

vB Nexus was last updated back in 2009. Google and Facebook in the meantime have changed the integration settings so addition became practically unusable.

Has anyone in the meantime, regardless of the extras on this board, managed to solve the integration problem for v3.8.x.?
