Facebook!
Installation (1 minute)
Additional Installation Notes If you don't like the default position of the like box, you can turn off auto-insert in the settings and place $facebook_like_box anywhere in the FORUMHOME template, or any other major template in the forum. What is it? This plugin creates an easily-configurable Facebook Like Box for your forum and/or CMS install. There is no HTML to edit. Turn-key installation; there aren't even any files to upload -- just import 1 Xml. There Is No Premium Version This mod doesn't have a premium version, but it can still get attention. If people in this topic take the premium version of Spam Hammer, this plugin also gets faster updates and responses than our other 20 plugins. Premium clients can vote once every 6 months for high priority to be given to plugins without a premium version, so this mod can garner faster answers to your questions and engineering of your ideas. Fatal error: Class 'vB_Template' not found in /home/content/85/7389985/html/abcd/admincp/global.php(243) : eval()'d code on line 38
Edit to add, real pain in the neck to manually modify templates if you have several styles. Couldn't this automatically install the needed hook? |

I understand it's a pain in the neck. We've added auto-insert so it automatically hooks onto the bottom of the navigation bar, and if you don't like the positioning, you can turn off auto-insert and place $facebook_like_box somewhere manually. That's the best we can do -- we don't have it as easy as vB 4.x :p |
What makes it different from default fb code?
|
Nice mod, i like to place this box in a cmps block, how can i do that?
|
Hmm.. seems like a lot of work for code you can grab from facebook asd past it into your site once. :o
Also the title could use some work, just saying "facebook" isn't great. I didn't even know it was a modification until I looked over and saw the forum it was posted in. This is from the "new post" link.. Anyways, thanks for sharing but it seems more complicated then it has to be  |
