How to change forum.php to forum root
 

I'm using 4.2.1 and forum is installed on domain root.
I want to change the forum home to be domain root and not go to forum.php.

Following tip suggested on other forums I've changed the Forum to be default instead of What's New?

This fix now doesn't redirect domain root to forum.php

Next is to change Forum tab in navigation to point to domain root instead of forum.php

I've changed Target URL to have / instead of forum.php{session.sessionurl_q}
This works, however if I'm not wrong removing forum.php{session.sessionurl_q} will cause users to logout if they have cookies disabled in the browser. Which means this is not the ideal solution.

So how do I point Forum to domain root?
