Forum question

What i would like to do is take all forum posts and make one page that shows them but all the posts on that page are separated into their correct sections but they all show on one page. Any idea how to do this?

That sounds like it would be an incredible resource hog - all forum posts on one page!?! I really don't know that there is a modification for this since it would kill many sites.

Like if i create section for sports, movies and games, i would like to show all the threads that are created in those sections on one page, not replies made to the threads just the threads themselves, but still be in correct categories. Basically the page is just to show all the threads if that makes since

I have seen it on another site thats what gave me the idea to find it

Still, even if you just did all threads, that is a LOT of threads. Even just in our News and Announcements forums, that is over 3400 threads on one page which would be a HUGE drain on your server if you had a lot of users hitting those pages. Did you try asking the admin of the other site if it was a modification?

Yea i dont think its a modification. When i asked him he didnt set it up a user on his site did it for him. He told me i could message and ask him. So i did but he wasnt willing to share how he did it

Well, it is definitely a modification since it isn't default. But, it may be custom for them. But seriously, I don't see how any site, unless they only have 10 threads a month and few users, could survive with a page like that available to it's users. (Are you sure it shows ALL threads?!?!)

I think he is talking about a content managment portal. Go google vbandvance and see if that will help.

I found it after hours of searching https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=245839 Its not ALL threads only specific ones you select to show
Thank you all for the reply though really appreciate it
