Block spammers?
 

I have a forum that is very regional. Can I somehow block spammers from outside my area? How would you do that?

Someone's always asking about banning by country, so you can probably do a search and find out about that (I don't know how to do it or else I'd just tell you). But if you're local and in the US, maybe you could figure out which zip codes are in areas you want to allow and ask for a zip code when registering (but you'd still need to use a plugin to check them, I guess).
