allow mods to change one usergroup?
hi :)
i have global moderators and administrators. administrators can change anyone's usergroup. moderators cannot, but they can ban. i have a usergroup called 'moderated users' - no access to any means of instant or private communication, all they can do is make public posts on forums, and those are screened by a mod/admin before they are visible to public. we are a mental health community, members go nutter occasionally and need to be put on hold, but ban is way too harsh a measure in most cases. member just needs to be stopped till mods/admins address it with them, reach an understanding, and member is back on track. i need some way for moderators to place users (of any usergroup except for admins and moderators) into the 'moderated user' group. i dont need them to change usergroups in any other way, only an option to place someone into the 'moderated user' group. admins will handle the rest. is there a mod for this? thank you very much! |
