RSS feed in a forum, show more of the posts
 
I have set up a forum for RSS feed and set up the RRS feed in the feed manager. It works fine.

Question is, can I get the RSS feed messages to display more than 300 or so characters with the more prompt? I would like to either display the entire message or at least 1000 characters.

vBulletin support says this requires custom code, can anyone tell where where to look to edit this setting?

It depends on the feed your pulling from as well, if it doesn't show more then 300 characters it'll be tougher to pull more then that.

yes, I would agree.

although, I believe the RSS feed that I have set up has more text available. I was looking for a possible limit to the RSS feed message size.

What is the feed you're trying to pull from, what's it showing and what are you expecting?
