Post a thread using API from a CI server
Hi,
I'm looking to do something here. I've got a Jenkins server doing software builds, and I'd like to have it post a thread on a board on our forums when a build is done. So our test team can be notified of the new version. I'm looking for ideas as to how that could be done. Is it possible to post a thread by hitting some url on the forum (maybe using wget with username and password)? Or maybe having jenkins hit a PHP script on our server which then calls the API on the forums? I must admit I'm not at all familiar with the coding end of VB, so any and all input is much appreciated. :) Thanks in advance! Cheers |
