Members Need 1 post to download attachement

I have some cool documents that I would like members to be able to download but only if they have at least 1-2 posts. Is there a MOD somewhere that can do that?

I think you could do this without a mod!

1. Disable downloads for the Registered usergroup

2. Create a new usergroup for everyone who meets the requirement, like Registered Plus Downloads. Just base it off Registered, except allow downloads.

3. Go to ACP -> Usergroups -> Promotions and set your post requirement for promotion to Registered Plus Downloads :)

Really anything - you can set the Usergroup Title to be the same as Registered Users, so they don't know the difference. All you need to do is make sure the Promoted Usergroup has this option set to yes:

And the non-promoted usergroup has it set to no.

You could even have a forum notice set up to say they need a certain # of posts before downloads, only visible to the non-promoted people
