User Registration terms agreement
 

Hi,
I am new to this and so far have not found any of this very helpful!
So hopefully that will change!!!!

Currently the user registration on has a tick box for accepting Rules.

I wish to add tick box acceptance for the following:

Agreement to Copy Right and Intellectual Property Rights
Agreement to Information Disclaimer
Agreement to Customer Duty of Care

I have added them to the User registration page but it lets you register without ticking the boxes!!!
Where, how what do I need to add / modify so that users must tick ALL 4 boxes before registration is accepted?

Please use simple language - I only have a very basic understanding of programming -VERY BASIC

And what have you added to make those fields required? In html5, there is the "required" option, but you may need to add some actual php code to make those required.

Why not just use the Profile Field manager, and make the field required on registration and at profile edit, this way everyone who registers must check the checkbox and all members who edit their profile who haven't previously been asked the question will have to check the checkbox :)

SORRY I AM A TOTAL NOVICE!! From what I have seen sound like it will do the trick!

Managed to set them up and they work - the only problem is I want to bring up the statements from the URL (single edit control point!) rather than copy and paste into description.

How do I do that?
