VB3 and Php 5.3
 
Any issues with VB3 and php 5.3 that I should be aware of?

No, vb3.8.x will work without issue on php 5.3.x although some mods from here that utilise the mysql database may write TYPE = MYSIAM before installing those mods you should change the word TYPE for ENGINE as TYPE has been deprocated.

I'm having this problem with the installation of vAdvanced CMPS. Where can I find and alter the Type / Engine command...?

Only 3.8.5 and up is compatible with PHP5.3. And only 3.8.8 is compatible with PHP5.4.

Help for vbadvanced is only given on the vbadvanced site.
