Re-sizing the profile picture & the avatar.

Hello!!
i would like to know,if it's possible to add a new plugin to my forum vb4.2,so when someone wants to add a new Photo profile or avatar,he doesn't need to re-size the picture on his computer.but the forum vb re-size it by it selfs..
please i need help.
