vBulletin Community Forum Issue
 

I deleted all of my browser data last night like I do every now and then, and when I tried to log into vBulletin Community Forum a few minutes ago, I got an unencrypted warning and canceled my login.

Additionally, when I click somewhere, the first part of the URL changes to this:
Anyone else experiencing this?

yep, something is going on there. Maybe they upgrade to Vb 5

Just been very confused by going there and ending up at vbtest.biz....very odd.

Only wanted to see how they use the FB connect feature and that doesn't work on there.

Is vbtest.biz a test site of theirs? Strange stuff...

Yeah, I should have still been logged in from yesterday. Facebook login doesn't work, and I've reset my password twice, four if you count the times I change it from the sent password, and it's logging me out each time I change it, and not accepting the changes. I presume some background changes are going on.

It always was. vBtest is apparently just a testing domain. http://whois.domaintools.com/vbtest.biz

Out of curiosity, then, how come I got an unencrypted warning box?

My guess, even if the page has some unencrypted content, you'll still get the dialog.

It was just a memcache issue that caused the main site to pickup some options from the test site, one of which was the site url. Long since fixed now.

The encryption message was simply because the test site does not run as https atm, so there was a mixture of http & https content on pages.
