Only Show Articles Link in Profile if User has Articles
 

Hi, I'd like to only show the articles link in the user profile if they have written articles. I understand that I can accomplish this through if conditions in the template but is there a variable or function that I can use that will give me an article count for the user?

It doesn't currently show in the postbit, so you would actually need to run a query for each post on the page to find out how many articles the user has written and then use the template_hook to print it out.
