Question
Is there a phrase I need to edit so that a username automatically changes when banned? For example - Test - After you ban the member Test (Test has been banned). I want has been banned as the words added.
Any help will greatly appreciated. |
So you want the user name to change from test to "test has been banned"

Correct

Probably would need to do this with an IF conditional in the postbit template. I forget the variable used, but wherever the username variable appears you'd use the if conditional that displays content if that member is a member of that usergroup, then <else /> if he's not.

I've figured out how to do this with help from a friend. Just add has been banned to the Username HTML markup, very simple.

Instead of creating another thread, I have another question, I've searched and searched for vBookie 3.8.7 but I notice there isn't a vBookie 3.8.7 (Could be wrong) I'm really wanting to add this to my sports forum. I've been lurking around on other sports forums and notice they have vBookie installed on 3.8.7. Is there a way I can get vBookie? Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I installed vBookie, it's not working properly. How can I unistall it? It won't unistall, everytime I click on a forum it's giving me a database error.
|
You'll have to check in that thread. Odds are the same way you installed it, in reverse.
