I am currently using VBAdvanced and would like to know if I can get a news content slider for it just like www.wdgaming.net.

Yes, there's one at the vBa website. A little bit older, but the principle still works.

It's called "AJAX Tabs Content Script". But go to vBadvanced.com and do a search for that phrase, because there appear to be multiple versions released by at least two different authors that I can see.
