DivisionByZero 01-25-2013 05:35 AM

Max Taxable 01-25-2013 05:40 AM

Yeah, it says it's the editor I have chosen, but it's not showing up on the editor.

what browser are you using? and do you have javascript disabled? did you just install an antivirus or security program?

  1. I switched to Google Chrome recently.
  2. As far as I know, no.
  3. No.

something's preventing the editor from showing up, becuase it's fine for everyone else. The oRg uses an ancient version of vbulletin, but that doesn't matter because other chrome users haven't complained yet. Probably a security setting.

vBulletin's WYSIWYG editor didn't support Chrome on this version of vB. (They still considered it just another random webkit at the time.) There's a Chrome extension that will put it in. Just don't forget it's there and start typing before it loads. (It WILL erase your text if you just so happen to type before it loads.)

vBulletin WYSIWYG

It's not perfect, but it works. I personally have gotten used to doing without it. Those dynamic editors have always been buggy for me.

Why?

It's just adware and spyware that also happens to (sort of) let you browse the internet as a secondary function.

Because of problems with tables here (see page 2 and scroll through it).

Tables aren't native to the software there, but their width is supposed to auto-adjust (which is something you have to change manually in vBulletin). For whatever reason, Mozilla Firefox was and still is deciding on a width less than what they need to be, so the text wraps.

For example, the "Facebook" in the table in my signature there appears as "Facebook" on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. However, on Mozilla Firefox, it appears like this:

Faceboo
