Change your old domain to a new domain name
 

I will need to change my domain to a new domain name and keep old url re directed to the new one.

And this scares me alot. I'm so afraid of screwing up since my knowledge is very limited.

So i read this blog article many times but need to straighten out some question marks

First of this is how my public_html directory looks like

I added a new 'add-on domain' map through cpanel. It's there, in the middle of all files.

This is where i'm scared to screw up. Should i mark all files in the public_html directory exept the new mydomain.org map and MOVE all these files into the new mydomain.org map?

Where is my old domain forum root folder?

Are you changing the domain only in the same host or are you changing your host as well?

same host!
