Change Ad Load Order in vb?
 

I want to know if there is a way to force the entire CMS page to load BEFORE any widgets containing ads . . .

Currently CMS pages load and if they contain several widgets, such as facebook and 3rd party ads, the page hangs depending on the speed of the 3rd party server. I would like my entire page to load and THEN load the 3rd party items (so if they "hang" it won't be at the expense of the guest browsing an article.

Does anyone know HOW I can accomplish this?? I would love any/all insight and thoughts on the subject.

I think what you want to do is use javascript. You can have a javascript function set up to run only after the page is finished loading, so you could do something like, instead of putting the ad code in the html, have your javascript function add it. I've seen this before so I think if you do some searching you'll be able to find an example.
