Help with requiring age to show in 4.2

If I have overlooked this in my vb or elsewhere please forgive me. Ive tried fixing this as I need it but I must have missed something. Our forum REQUIRES that age is showing for each members but after registering some will go back and have it not show. Is there someway to make this so it is not only required but unchangeable by the member in VB 4.2 P3
