can anyone port this vb3.x Addons to vb 4.2.x

HI,
search for a lot of wonderfull Addons, that i have used in vb 3.x.

Advanced Search (search by exat Daterange)
Last x Search Results on Searchpage (it Display the Last x Searchresults with Username, so an Admin or Mod can see, that the User have used the Search)

and now the Addons that i have seen in an other Board.
a Funktion that stripped a full Quote to an % of Quote by newreply.

I don't think that's possible as the modification is archived, unsupported, and not marked as reusable code.
