VB 4.2 Help..Guest appear as members and members as guest
 

Im not sure what is going on . I have a small forum that I have had up for 2 months and suddenly my who's online list is appearing as following:

Currently Active Users

There are currently 23 users online. 20 members and 3 guests
Most users ever online was 76, 9 Hours Ago at 08:37 AM.

IF ANYONE can help me in any way it would be greatly appreaciated. My host URLjet said they had never seen anything like it before.

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

My hosting service disabled my hooks but its still not working I have reverted my forumhome template and updated thread and forum information via admincp...but this is what is still showing. Strange how there are no IP addresses either.

I am the user showing babygirl...I noticed that my user agent and all the other ones are identical..not sure if that is relevant but the it say one guest was viewing the admin control panel.

What version of vb do you have? What was the latest change you did before this issue started to happen?

what exactly is happening?
Is the who's online just showing commas, vs users?

Can you add a screenshot?

Are you just getting spammed?

<i>Thanks for the suggestions. Im not sure what it was, I think I was getting spammed but I have used a backup to restore the site and all is well. Now I have just got to somehow get my CMPS installed correctly. This is the third time this week its had to be reinstalled and now that I recovered and my arcade isnt saving my score....but on the up side all those little annoying comma marks are gone lol</i>
