CMS: Keep original thread option no longer working as expected?
The site I run promotes up a featured art and story every 2 or 3 weeks from the forum. It used to be I could hit "keep original thread" and everything was great. Now it seems to be pointing to the thread, rather than the post, so if I end up promoting two different art posts from the same thread, instead of pointing to the particular, unique post, it creates a new thread with a copy of the post. Which is confusing and unnecessarily spammy in my forum.
Am I doing something wrong, is this a bug, a "feature" or? It's very irritating to have to keep deleting the randomly popping up VB generated thread so it isn't confused with the actual thread. |
