RSS Feeds Question
 
Is it possible to keep the RSS feeds from being displayed in the "New Posts" list? (Version 4.0.6)

They get duplicated in New Threads and New Posts on the site home page, and inundate the board -- many readers prefer to check the list for member contributions only.

If your RSS feed posts are in a separate forum you could exclude that forum. Edit the New Posts link and add "&exclude=X" (without the quotes) where X is the forum you want to exclude.

In 4.2.0 you'd do this in the Navigation Manager, but I'm not sure where it is in 4.0.6 (navbar template?) - maybe search in templates for search.php and look for do=getnew.
