Hello i want to buy a license for 4.2.0 but i can`t find from where i can buy.

Licenses are sold at vbulletin.com. You can only buy a vb5 license, but it will allow you to use earlier versions (in fact, vb5 is still in beta so it should not be used for a live site yet).

Correct, the vB5 license includes lower versions.
vB5 includes the full vB4 suite (+Blog +CMS), not just the forum.
The extra's can be turned off if not needed.

You can buy second hand licenses from other sites like webhostingtalk.

I also wanna buy vbulletin 4.2.0 but not 5.0 . why should i buy buy 5.0 when i need only 4.2.0. and why should i use vb5.0 when its not release.

I don't wanna spend all my money to just beta ver. when i need vbullrtin 4.0 . that is unfair.

I checked 5.0 demo its bad than 3.x. too much confusing . i wanted to buy vb4 which cost 150$ to 175. than why should i buy 5.0 which is too much waste of money. its cost 250 $. when u wanna buy only vbulletin 4.2.0 you need to buy and waste money for vb5.0. tell me can i buy signle copy of vbulletin of not?

Sorry, Vb5 is the only license you can purchase as of now. You can look for a second hand license at your own risks though.

You do have access to to vb 4.2.0 downloads and all others when you purchase 5.0.0

As mentioned, there is one price plan now which includes vb5, vb4, vb3 and even vb2 if you wanted.
You can only run one live install per license..
