My Fresh Fishing Forum

Hey guys,

I'm still working through a lot of the initial customization and tweaks here and there..

Take a peak at what I have done so far.

As of now its very basic, but that Is what I'm going for.

ANY good but preferably bad or ugly input would be highly appreciated.

Check out the picture show case tab, and let me know if you have any errors. There is custom java and PHP on that page.

At a quick glance it seems you can use some content asap. You can't expect people to post content if you don't have content to real them in in the first place.

The style isn't too highly customized, kudos on the showcase (default album hasn't worked for anyone in ages lol).

The registration popup that follows you is a tad pointless. It's not set up to convert and isn't so much annoying as it is unnecessary.

You need content ;)
And the logo needs a bit of work. Maybe put the entire logo container into something that's stretching as much as the normal forum (otherwise on larger screens it looks out of place).

LOVE the simplicity. It's elegant and modern. Really nice looking.

Thanks guys,

Its only been a month or so since i started.

I know for a fact that i need content and that's whats going to dive traffic.

However, before I started writing content, i wanted all the layout concerns fixed in case i would need to do a clean install.

Do wtricks, do you have a link or show me how to do this?

I assume your saying have a logo that stretches and keeps the same aspect ratio dpending on browser size?
