Display Avatar or Profile Picture in Widget
 

I have been studying the manual to try to learn how to use variables in templates.

I am trying get the user's avatar and profile pictures URLS when they log in ona a widget that I am creating.

I have called this without success:

{vb:raw userinfo.avatarurl}
{vb:raw bbuserinfo.avatarurl}
{vb:raw post.avatarurl}

in here:

<a class="avatar" href="{vb:link member, {vb:raw userinfo}}" title="{vb:rawphrase xs_avatar, {vb:raw userinfo.username}}">

Can someone guide me a little bit?

Widget - so is this in the CMS? Or is it a forum block on the sidebar?

What template is this located in?

I think you just need to add a plugin to the relevant hook, and get those variables registered. We can do this with a little more info about the template, code, etc.

I'd like for it to potentially be in either the header or navbar template. I've had no problem getting it work on the sidebar.

Anyone?
