Lt - Send PM From User Account

Desc:
Send private message from Desired member's profile.
Installation:
  1. Download Lt_Send_Pm_TUA.zip.
  2. Import product-lt_send_pm_to_ua_english.xml file on Product Manamegent.
  3. Go to vBulletin Options/Lt - Send PM to User Account and change variables.

No. This hack send private message from desired users account. Please try it hack or Look carefully at pictures.

That's not English on pics, I don't understand anything... anyways it looks like this allows you to send pm from someones else account on your site?
What is purpose of that, to make your users confused or unsecured ?

I agree. Unless I'm misunderstanding something, I don't get the point of this add-on. Under what circumstances would an admin ever want to do this?

Not sure why the admin would want to send a PM (personal message) from someone else...

I'd be unhappy if I thought an admin of a forum was sending messages using my name....

On our forum we have an anonymous moderator account that we use for infractions. This helps moderators out by not having them be personally targeted for any infraction or warning they give a user.

This mod would work great by letting admins and mods send their disciplinary PMs from that anonymous mod account without having to log out and log into the mod account.

I'm sure there's other uses for this mod also. Be happy the author spent the time in making something rather than questioning its usefulness if its not something you need. :)

Thank you. I'd never thought of that and it is an interesting potential use.

FYI, my post wasn't intended as a slam, just a genuine question.
