database connect error

When trying to install vbulletin 5, I receive an error from the server. This is the error message:

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'ftpadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

wrong password or username or both being used check your config
you have used this url http://www.huntersdomain.com/forum/install/install.php to install?

My username is ftpadmin, and the database is hunters domain_geolistings. I have checked the configuration file, and the install still does not work. This is the correct information. Any other ideas?

You should also check the serve rname and the db password. i.e. make sure that all db info is entered correctly at the config.php file.
