Track Slow Queries

Hi, I am having this issue that is resurfacing again. Slow queries causing high server load. How can I track slow queries in order to try and fix this issue. I am having a friend who is helping me.

I'm not sure exactly how but there is some way for the server admin to get you a copy of slow queries- I know we sometimes get people emailing support with copied of queries their host has sent to them that are running slow. (Usually they turn out to be from 3rd part mods.)
