Using imgur or other image hosts for user avatars?

Is it possible for users to use a remote host like imgur to host their avatar so it doesn't have to be stored on the server and use space/bandwidth?

I swear I've seen this before in other forums in the user avatar options panel, but I can't remember if vBulletin supports this.
