How do I add links to navbar?

I am running vb 4.1.10. I wanna add three links to my navigation bar. The small navbar one below the tabbed nav bar. I wanna add a link to my websites rss, then a twitter and facebook link for our site. But I want tiny icons to sit beside all three. How would I code this and what template/templates would I need to edit?
