Thumbnail Image- Not Showing Up On Facebook

When I post an article from my Vbulletin on Facebook, the image from the article does not show up as a thumbnail on Facebook. How do I fix this? Please let me know.

I was just trying to get this figured out on vBulletin.com and unfortunately as Joe D points out, if the image is from an attachment it wont show up on Facebook. vBulletin.com thread

I don't utilize the CMS on any of my sites due to its poor SEO, but I'm interested to see whether this is addressed in vb5.

If not, I've done some work to create a get_attachments() function (similar to what wordpress uses) that could help in this situation, however I have only written it for blog entries and threads at the moment...

Correct, you guys have to make that article a forum thread with the image not as an attachment to show up. Also if you guys use a post's link instead of the actual thread that has the image "sometimes" the image will not show up either.
