Forum Stats in Side Bar
 

How can I add the basic forum stats (post count, thread count, members, active members, newest member) to the forum home using a side block? The phrases in my template (ie, {vb:rawphrase threads}) work, but the queries (ie, {vb:raw totalthreads}) produce no output.

I've seen this done already ( bottom side block 'Forum Statistics' at http://8wayrun.com/forum/ ), but I cannot find this solution.

Any guidance would be GREATLY appreciated!

Things like {vb:raw totalthreads} aren't working because the variable needs to be registered to the template for that to work (I don't know how to do that offhand). But I think those are global variables, so you might try using {vb:raw GLOABLS.totalthreads}, etc and see if that works.
