How can I move the VBCMS setion widget down? Its crammed up against the secondary header.

This is a CSS issue so you would need to provide a link to the exact page having the issue.

I have since removed the secondary header, but you can still see that the section widget is high.

For some reason there is a <br /> at the beginning of that code. You should find the template and try removing it.

HTML Code:

<ul class="list_no_decoration widget_list" id="widgetlist_column1"> <li><br /> <div class="cms_widget"> <div class="block"> <div class="cms_widget_content widget_content"> <style type="text/css">

so you mean the widget template? I'll go look now.

I didn't see a <br /> in there

Look at the template that encloses that one. The <br /> seems to appear just before the <div class="cms_widget"> You've got some sort of code compressor on your site. Try disabling it and see if you still have the same problem.

ar15dcm 10-14-2012 05:40 PM

Okay I sort of understand what you mean. This is the section nav widget. Which template template should I look at?

Lynne 10-15-2012 02:59 PM

Look at the one that encloses it.

To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. (Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.)

(Note, you will need to disable that code compressor mod in order for the above to work.)
