Facebook does not show the correct thumbnail on new post

Whenever an admin publishes an article with the facebook integration feature, the thumbnail chosen is wrong.

The system pics an image located higher on the page than the thread itself. The image happens to be an ad.

This appears to be happening because VB does not set the og:image property.

Is this by design?
