Hi, I was wondering how some sites (particularly gaming sites) did this. Under the avatar, they have all these added features like on these two forums:

http://allsquare.net/forums/showthre...?threadid=2419

http://forums.ffalpha.com/showthread.php?threadid=6054

Notice the added features, is it a released hack, or some variation on the star hack, or something else? Any ideas? Thanks and hi I'm new ^_^.

kind of interesting huh... I think it is a variation of the star hack.. and a lot of template manipulation..

check out the posbit template..

you can change it to whatever you want.. for the most part.. just takes a lot of time to get it to look like that.

Ive seen this discussed on this board before try doing a search for role-playing. or role playing one of the two.

some custom fields and some manipulation of the templates and a couple of edits to the php files by the looks of it.

and you know baka means idiot in japanese :P

Wow, some people actually know the meaning to my name :) .
*Is an anime freak*

Anyways, I guess it isn't a custom hack from vb....maybe it should be implemented on future versions. (Hint, hint ;) )

Jelsoft doesn't develop or release hacks for vBulletin.

I looked at the page in question and can't see anything except a nicely done template. There is nothing that suggests that code hacks are needed.

Hmm , Any ideas on how this could be done?

Mike Gaidin 10-01-2001 09:43 PM

Yes, any ideas? I would love this addition to my board.

It must be done by code, unless you want users to set their own items. I guess there is some calculation behind it.
