Removing Some things on Homepage

Can anyone please help me. I am looking to clean up my home page and would like to know how to remove this stuff. See attached image.

I have attached the a screenshot with the parts I want to be removed circled. I understand this is what is used to edit homepage. So do other people see these things? Is is code that needs to be deleted? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
