Make new registered members post in a certain thread
 

I'm wanting to know if it's possible to make it so when people register to the forum they have to post in a certain thread to then active there account.. If so how?

I think you can use a promotion for that. Make the default usergroup (that people get put in to when they register) only have permission to post in a certain "welcome" forum. Then make a promotion to a usergroup with more permissions that requires 1 post.

But you did say "post in a certain thread". I guess then it wouldn't work unless that thread was in its own forum. You'd need a mod of some kind if you really want to make it promote after posting to a single thread.
