Do you mean that you want to limit the number of user to register at your forum? Can you give us a few more details? The more the better.

I understand the question but I don't know the answer :(

He wants to know if he can limit the number of "groups" his members can join.

I Mean limit the numbers of Social groups that my members can join, there is a way to limit that? We can limit the number of Social Groups that players can CREATE but not the number that they can JOIN.

I see what you mean. I think you will need a custom mod for that.

I want to revive this thread because this is something I am interested in as well.

If someone can give me a good enough reason for this, I will look into a hack. I think the process would be too restricting overall, the only problem I have seen is people insincerely joining all the groups.

I created a hack -- I have to check if I still have it -- that monitors the users activity in a group for the group moderator or owner, in which they then can manually drop or suspend a member.

I would be willing to donate for this. I am essentially using the "Social Groups" as a guild system. I renamed the phrases so it says Guild instead of Group.

I would like to make it so a user can only be a member of a single group, which includes being the owner of a group. So a user cannot create more than 1 group, or create a group if already a member of another. The user would have to be able to leave a group to be able to join/create another one.

I would then also like to hook into postbit the group (guild) they are a member of.
