I can delete cron.php?

Hello, my problem is that the host company that gives me my page, I suggested that the cron.php file and remove everything related to the as it was cosumiendo demaciados resources. My question is ... Have any consequence or delete the file that you recommend?

The cron.php file runs your Scheduled Tasks, and some things will stop working if you remove it. For instance: promotions, expiring infractions and bans, stats updates, etc. In short, no, you don't want to remove it completely, but you might try to figure out which scheduled task is taking so much time, maybe it's something you can change.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Where I can check the scheduled tasks to see what was the problem? I have not activated any scheduled task so as I can not see them.

I knew that would be the next question. :) To be honest I don't know. There is a scheduled task log, but it only shows when specific tasks run. You might have to do something like compare that log to some kind of server log (but that's where I get lost). If your host compnay was able to tell you that cron.php is a problem, then maybe they can tell you the exact times that the problem occurred, then you can look at the Scheduled Task Log and see what was running at those times.

Again thank you for the answer. informs the company about it

One thing, not every scheduled task writes to the log, so you might have to compare the times with the times each schduled task is set to run. I think it's also possible to enable logging for each task (by editing the task and setting "Log Entries" to yes), but of course you would then have to wait until the problems happen again.
