i am trying to turn off the ban member & the Users Awaiting Email Confirmation in the Total members that have visited the forum in the last

I don't understand what you want to do - turn off the ban member? What does that mean?

He doesnt want those two user groups counted/shown in the "who has visited in the last".

the gray is a ban member i do not wont that show up

I would guess you would write a plugin using the "forumhome_loggedinuser_query" hook location and then set $hook_query_where to something like ", user.usergroupid NOT IN (x, y, z)" where x, y, z are the usergroups you don't want to show up.
