Just started Vbulletin, not sure what's happening

So the main thing is when I try to do anything major, it just redirects me back to the forum home page (not the CP).

Example, going to my account and trying to change my username from Admin, and when I click save it just redirects me to back to the 'What's New page. Which wouldn't be a problem IF when I actually go to check my changes, it's the default user name details.

Same thing when trying to upload a avatar/profile picture.

What gives? Was something installed improperly?

you have VBSEO installed or have any htaccess edits, is your Site Name / URL / Contact Details in settings correct ?

No, my host server just installed it for me last night. From what I can see all the details are all correct.. (not htacess edits yet), though i may ask my host about that. No VBSEO yet no.

go to admincp and do the following Maintenance > Diagnostics > Suspect File Versions & Problematic Webserver Modules.

other than that it maybe a server issue, IF they have installed it "correctly"

I did it, didn't seem to find any problems. Issue still persists though,

Ok so I disabled the .htaccess file and the damn vbulletin worked! Of course, this means that the website is down now but I need them to work together. Anyone heard of this issue before?

What code can i put in the .htaccess file to allow both to work together?
