Disable the FAQ and/or Calendar system.
1 Attachment(s)
I rarely see a forum using the vBulletin system that actually makes use of the calendar system. I also rarely see a forum that has edited and makes use of the FAQ system. Unfortunately, these are still accessible and more often than not display invalid info.
By using this mod, you can disable the FAQ and/or Calendar system. All you have to do is import the attatched XML file, then go to Settings->Options->Disable FAQ/Calendar and enter the ID's of the usergroups you want redirected, separated using commas. Whenever someone in a specified usergroup goes to the Calendar/FAQ they will be redirected to the page they were at previously. The redirect messages are stored as phrases, and so are easily editable. If you would like another feature added to be disabled, just reply to the thread and I'll see what I can do. Version Change Log: 1.0: Initial release 2.0: Changed system. You now select which usergroups you want redirected. |

I'll see what I can do :) And thanks for installing ;) |
If it's disabled why keep displaying the link?

But some people may still find a link, even if you have removed it. Or they may go to it direct. Some admins don't know how to remove the link (especially if the are using a pre 4.2 version). |

I don't use the default VB calendar but instead have a custom calendar.
I've installed your mod to disable the default calendar, on the redirect can I customise the redirect so it redirects to my custom calendar? |
