design help needed

hi guys, I am starting my first forum. I've gotten it up and running but I need some design help.
first, I want to replace the bulletin image/lnk at the top of every page with an image/link the is intended for my site. I have looked through the manual a few times but cannot find any help for this.
next, I want to place titles on each of my categories. similar to the version 4 discussion, version 3 discussion...... where do i find out how to do this?

Ok to change your site logo go to:

Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > Style Manager

Then on the theme you want to change click the [Go] button next to where it says "Style Variable Editor".

Then in the box that say's "Search Stylevar" type: titleimage.

Click on "titleimage" under "ImagePaths" and type your logo URL into the box on the right. See my attachment if you get lost. The image should already link to your forum homepage.
