i am so confused! lol could someone help please

hi guys

another newbie question from yours truly :) hehe

i want to add a vbulletin forum to my website, i have purchased, downloaded and installed vbulletin to the host

now what exactly do i do, my site is not yet published other than a default coming soon page i published.

whats the next step? wheat url do i put on the vbulletin settings to get it to work

in the admin control panel, the view my site at the top right bit, gives me a 404 error page

sorry if these are silly questions, i am still very new to all this and learning loads every step

so remember if you can help, talk like your explaining it to a 5 year old and assume i know nothing hehe

thanks a ton in advance

www.dogz-4-life.com its just a little holding page, i am using webplus for the website design

i want the forum to be something like www.dogz-4-life.com/dog-forum

Make sure you create a directory in your root and name it " dog_forum ".... make sure all your vbulletin files go in that directory or rename the directory where your forum files are under to " dog_forum " ...

Once you have done that your forums url will be www.dogz-4-life.com/dog_forum

Hope that helps you

now when i put in the url to my browser http://www.dogz-4-life.com/Dog-Forum in sends me too http://www.dogz-4-life.com/Dog-Forum/activity.php

also if i f i hit Forum home page within VB AdminCP (the bit on the top right) it sends me too a slightly different address http:///www.dogz-4-life.com/Dog-Forum/forum.php any idea's?
