Review: WHangOut.com PR4 Webmaster forum

Hi friends,

Yesterday my forum WHangOut.com got PR 4 from PR0.
I am just here to have a quick review of my webmaster forum.

Url: http://www.WHangOut.com

The skin on the forum is unique and custom paid.

Please share your thoughts about the webmaster forum. Suggestions are welcomed :)

Regards.

Layout is really nice and clean. I like the skin.

How did you get from PR0 to PR4?

Not a bad start. I would work a bit on customizing both your designs and functionality though. In your market you're up against a lot of established competitors. http://forums.digitalpoint.com , www.sitepoint.com , http://www.webmastertalkforums.com , etc. All very well established and some like SitePoint having very robust features like their Marketplace. Another thing with being in that niche is that you're also attracting (hopefully) talented programmers, designers, webmasters, etc. - this means they want to see a website that seems like it's backed by just as talented of a team, which puts you in a position where you need it that much more.

Even if you just start off by getting your hands dirty because of a low budget, there are tons of options available and articles to help you.

One of the first things i would do is make a place where people can post jobs, feed that to the homepage or sidebar. Same for domain appraisals and website flips. Also provide as much quality content and resources / articles for webmasters, sitepoint is big on that.
