Slim Collapsed Forums
1 Attachment(s)
This mod is designed to remove the excess padding from collapsed forum categories on the homepage. This is helpful if your forum has many top-level categories that are not applicable to the majority of members.
How it Works: The plugin inserts a small JavaScript function into the page. This function hooks into the vB_XHTML_Ready event in the vB JavaScript Core, adding an additional class to collapsed forum categories on the homepage when fired. This class is linked to a new css style rule, which is applied to the affected categories. By default both a "html5" and cross-browser version of the function are sent from the server, so newer browsers can take advantage of a more efficient algorithm whilst still working on older browsers. Sounds interesting ... thank you .. :)
If anyone here gets working for vBulletin 4.1.3, a post indicating that would be appreciated ... I'm a little reluctant to try it on our live forums ... :p Thanks... Regards, Doug |
